Thank you for looking at this page to find out about supporting St Mary’s financially.
Whether you are considering regularly supporting the church, wanting to review your existing giving, leave a legacy to the church or simply want to give a one-off donation to St Mary’s, please contact our Church Office for a giving form.
St Mary’s Church is eligible to claim gift aid from taxpayers on all donations, so if you are in a position to do so, please consider also completing the gift aid form.
Your giving enables…
Just as in your home, it is important for us as a church to know what is coming in so that we can plan what is going out, and so be faithful stewards of what God entrusts to us. Your giving will enable us to plan as a church for all our ministry activities.
- The work of the church can only continue through your generosity. St Mary’s does not receive any money from the diocese to run itself. Just about all the income comes from you, the Parishioners. So, whether it be activities on Sundays or midweek; with children and youth or with the elderly; or for those within our church community or in the broader local community, your giving is vital to support our work and, without you, we can do very little indeed.
- We don’t just want to stand still as a church and ‘maintain’ what we currently do. We want to move forward in faith into all that God calls us to be. Your giving will enable us to have the material resources for this to become a reality.
- St Mary’s also supports individuals and organisations who share the transforming love of Jesus both within the UK and internationally. We support various ‘Mission Partners’ who work with children in both Africa and South America, single Mums in Leatherhead, the homeless in Guildford, and individuals suffering injustice in the world. Your giving enables us to be generous to these mission organisations, making a tangible and practical difference in the daily lives of people around our world.
