Noah’s Ark

During this time that we can’t be together at The Wheelhouse, we have been producing song videos for you all to enjoy over on our Noah’s Ark Facebook Page. Don’t forget to like our page and say hi as we would love to hear from you – and you will be able to get notifications when we upload a new video for you!

“We are keeping an eye on both the government and diocesan guidelines and note that we potentially could reopen as a support group. However, currently we feel this is still not possible due to the equipment we’d need to get, the very low numbers we could accommodate in the Wheelhouse, the restrictions that would be in place and the various health concerns of our team. However, we continue to post on our Facebook page and we have started emailing material out too. So, if you haven’t heard from us, it means we don’t have your email! If you would like us to get in touch, please email the Church Office and they will pass your contact details to the Noah’s Ark Team.”

Update – Closed until further notice

Due to the update and advice from the government and the Church of England under new circumstances, we have had to make the difficult decision to close our toddler group until further notice.
We will miss you all and if you need any support and help during this time, please do contact our Church Office as we would love to try and help you!

Noah’s ark is our toddler group that runs on a Thursday morning (term time only) 10am-11.30am at the Wheelhouse 80 East lane. All welcome.

Noah’s ark is a fun and friendly place to be on a Thursday morning. Mums, Dads, Grandparents and child-minders arrive with their toddlers and babies to a room full of fun activities – ride on toys, small slides, construction toys cars, trains, dolls etc. There is always a craft activity and a soft play area for the youngest visitors.

Halfway through the session we gather together for a snack and a story. The children enjoy fruit and a biscuit whilst the adults enjoy tea, coffee and home baked cakes provided by a talented team of ladies from St Mary’s. Just before home time we gather together again for song time.

Throughout the year we have a few special events- we celebrate Christmas with a party, there is always an Easter treat and in the summer we have a few fun trips out.

Noah’s ark is a lovely meeting place for child carers in the local community. Often new family’s moving into the area find it a great place to make new friends.
