Our next event is a Women’s breakfast
with speaker Ann Mather from Christians Against Poverty

Our speaker for the morning is Ann Mather. Ann has volunteered for CAP (Christians Against Poverty) since 2018. Initially, as a facilitator for the Life Skills course, but then she trained to be a course coach and subsequently became the Life Skills and Money Management Manager for CAP in Guildford.

Ann and her team run courses every term to help people who are struggling to cope financially and with whatever life throws at them. All these courses are free, open to everyone of any faith or none, and are fun, interactive and confidential.

We think it will be a very informative morning to learn more about the work of Christians Against Poverty generally but also locally in our Guildford area.

The breakfast buffet offered includes hot items – bacon, sausage, egg, hash brown, beans and tomatoes – and the continental buffet includes toast with spreads, yoghurts, pastries, fruit, and cereal. Furthermore, a tea or coffee is included in this pricing of the breakfast buffet. Any extra drinks can be ordered and paid directly at the bar on site.
